Post Construction BMP’s are the BMP’s that exist on the site following its completion. The objective of post construction or
permanent BMPs is to limit the number of pollutants that could potentially be discharged to a receiving water.
Some examples of post construction BMP’s are infiltration basins, bioretention, swales, and catch basins. These methods
help to greatly reduce the chance of sediment polluting waterways.
